HISTORY
Cătălina Bogdan is a senior student at the Faculty of Interior Architecture at the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu", Bucharest. Is a member of La Designarie team since 2013,
experimenting with ideas, concepts and manifesting her passion for wood as a favorite material in product design.
More of a dreamer and perfectionist, she likes to travel a lot, constantly searching for inspiration, and to collect design objects.

The Green Desk concept emerged from the desire to join wood, a material itself pleasant and relaxing material itself, with a small oasis of tranquility. Regardless the type of use, at home or in an office space, the desk promises a pleasant aesthetic and mental experience. At the same time, the user is directly involved with the opportunity to customize its desk, by planting the favourite sort of grass or vegetation, and changing it occasionally to impede monotony.
The desk’s body is made of solid wood (from essences such as: beech, ash or oak) and the drawer faces are finished in white Corian. The grass is planted in a plexiglass container, easy to handle, which incorporates a space for collecting the excess of water.
