Last year the Object made the Context. This year the Context makes the Object.

In 2016 Instalart gives you Mario Kuibuș. Mario Kuibuș is an architect. He initiated the TUB project in 2002. TUB comes with an identity for Bucharest. And with a strategy for future. TUB is today the spine of PIDU CENTRAL. It is the faith core of a team made of 13 entities of urbanism, architecture, design and many others (ASUB). It is a development project meant for the centre of Bucharest City. A project acknowledged, approved and passed by the City Hall.

Instalart invites six important personalities of the Romanian design to interact with TUB: Dorin Ștefan, Robert Marin, Corvin Cristian, Mihai Popescu, Ștefan Barutcieff and Mădălin Gheorghe. These designers put forward one object, one installation, one concept for one of the TUB’s rooms.

Instalart produces the objects together with their partners and exhibits them in Bucharest during the Romanian Design Week. This autumn, Instalart takes the project for one week to each of the following cities: Cluj, Iași, Timișoara.
