The collections of the young designer, a graduate of fashion design studies in Timisoara, Paris scholar and doctor in visual arts, encompass multiple identity aspects, from socio-cultural concepts to materialization in aesthetic visions.

ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

2018 // Undercover uniforms F/W 2018

In a society where the image is rarely based on authenticity, the project illustrates the artist's perception on the fashion of the consumerist era, which generates loss of identity, uniformizes, deletes personalities. We live in an "undercover uniform" society, we choose similar packages, loaded with impersonal social symbols, controlled by unstable pressures and criteria.

Visual identity becomes the expression of collective tendencies, of an improper rhythm of honest communication of identity, in an apparent balance between the need of individualization and of belonging. The project speculates uniform stereotypes of clothing, packed in customized forms and structures. In a mix of styles with sport influences, refined relationships of materiality and structure reconfirm the identity of the brand.

The designs contain rhythmic structures, complex details, having as the visual leitmotivs the bow and the square, in a chromatic palette of warm greys and saturated yellow.
