Ioana Șopov is an illustrator and graphic designer from Bucharest, Romania. She has worked in the field for over 5 years, experimenting with both traditional and digital techniques. Her biggest passion is character design, especially when it comes to pirates.

2016 // KEY VISUAL VISUAL PLAYGROUND 2016
We wanted a key visual that spoke to VisualPlayground's general atmosphere and theme. The project is in its essence an actual playground for creative individuals with a penchant for visual expression in all its forms, so we chose to illustrate a bold, bright and colorful world, exploding from our flagship symbol - the red pencil. Each element of the composition was planned for both blending in harmoniously with the big picture as well as functioning as a stand-alone illustration.
