The Institute promovează industriile creative din România, urmărind să contribuie la modernizarea României. The Institute inițiază și organizează evenimente de 19 ani și a construit o comunitate ce reunește antreprenori, profesioniști și publicul industriilor creative din România.

Prin tot ceea ce face,  contribuie la construirea unei infrastructuri puternice pentru dezvoltarea antreprenoriatului creativ în țară, crește și diversifică audiența atelierelor, designerilor, micilor afaceri, agențiilor și manufacturilor, promovează antreprenorii și profesioniștii creativi pe plan național și internațional.

HISTORY
Filip Letinu is a graduate of the University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu”, Faculty of Urbanism. In the year that he graduated was the economic crisis, so he had to retrain. So he ended up working in the advertising domain, as a digital illustrator. Here, he learned skills as: creativity, teamwork, leadership, initiative. At the moment, he is working as a freelancer, focusing more on his creative side. Last year, he managed to have some personal exhibitions and to appear in Lürzer's Archive magazine - 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide.

ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCES

The illustration was made as a commercial for an online vintage clothing store called "Fâsul" (“The Windbreaker”) . This shop is specialized in selling vintage clothing, in particular windbreakers. We all know how vintage fashion is making a comeback, so the illustration shows a typical “millennial” (so called Hipster) introducing a vintage windbreaker in his/her daily outfit. The illustration send a message that perhaps we should take seriously: recycle, reuse even if it's clothes. The colors used are very bright and they recall the 80s and 90s fashion. The illustration is part of a larger project called: "Some people are descended from monkeys".
