ROMANIAN DESIGN WEEK APPEARANCE

2015 // ,,Dungeon''- A Venture Into Romanian Game Craftsmanship
''Dungeon'': A venture into Romanian game craftsmanship is a game concept art and design exhibition, probably the first of its kind to take center stage during a big event in the Romanian cultural scene. With the precise goal of giving games industry artists the proper recognition that they deserve, exhibition curators Vlad Calu and Rareș Cinteză (representatives of the Central European Games Conference) have gathered a couple of what they consider to be the most relevant Romanian visual artists and independent developers of 2014/2015.

The exhibition will host the works of independent visual artists Alex Negrea, Mihai Radu and Nagy Norbert, alongside Ubisoft's own Cristian ''Sickbrush'' Chihaia. The trained eye will be able to spot landscape scenes from the Assasin's Creed series, as well as famous characters from games such as League of Legends, Tomb Raider and Dead Space. Bucharest based game and software studios ''Those Awesome Guys'' and ''Holotech Studios'' will also be present to take you through the design process of their newest games and apps.

This small but heartwarming exhibition is meant to guide those who wish to venture into a world of limitless possibilities. By bringing together the brightest minds that dwell in the one of the most neglected corners of the Romanian creative scene, we aim to shed light upon our beliefs. Games are not time wasters. They are an art form that needs to be experienced. And all you need to do, is play one.
