2015 // The Herbalist - Molucco Extract Aromatic
The Herbalist - Molucco Aromatic Extract is a natural flavouring extract from a blend of 42 different botanicals. It can be used in cooking, baking and cocktails to add depth to your recipes.
Also known as aromatic bitters, this formulation adopts an old-school, monastery style approach: no caramel colouring, no sugar, no essential oils.
Bouquet: a balanced blend of ceylon cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, closely followed by a me-lange of bitter orange peel and cardamom. Immediately after: hints of lavender and woody, earthy herbal medicine notes.
Body: a structured light body with complex warm spices, clean gentiana bitterness and an ab-rupt angelica root finish; hints of liquorice, but no residual sugar or caramel on the palate.
